What does Hinduism teach you with your better half in journey called life


 There are 3 primal gods in India called Trimurti

 1. Lord Shiva - His consort Parvathi takes the equal half of him ( the Left part) and is called Ardhanareshwaran
 2. Lord Vishnu -His consort MahaLakshmi sits forever in a mole called Srivastavam in his right chest
 3. Lord Brahma - His consort Saraswathi who is the goddess of knowledge sits right next to him

What we learn -

 1. Lord Shiva teaches the couples to discuss as equals - Heart and brain together as we are leading our life
 2. Lord Vishnu has his better half in his heart so the decisions by brain are made by him and decisions by heart are taken by the better half.Another way of leading leading our life.
 3. Lord Brahma teaches us to lead life by getting inputs from the better half who is a wealth of knowledge


On a lighter note, There is a interesting question my Grandfather asks newly married couples. He asks them if they like the city Chidambaram or Madurai. With a lot of confusion on why 2 specific cities are picked, We asked him and he explained.

Chidambaran is famous for Lord Natraja and Madurai is famous for Meenakshi amman which signifies who rules the place. So now if some one asks me this question, I would raise my hand and say we all love Madurai :).
